Day #7: Wednesday

Today  I wasn't really in the mood for adventure, so we decided to hang out, get a little exercise, and catch up on some school work. 

We tried some of our fruits and veggies we got from the market - they had mixed reviews.  Guanabana was a hit w/everyone but Camilla.  Papaya didn't go over really well with anyone.  But the yucca and the mini bananas were a hit w/everyone.

My original plan when heading over to the west side of the island was to go out exploring several different areas over here (zoos, beaches, etc.).  But after our adventures yesterday, we opted out of any significant "exploring".  We are minutes away from a beautiful beach, so after Emma's nap, we spent the afternoon there chasing cool yellow crabs,

swimming,

watching Emma entertain herself,

 

and doing some more school work...

 

After going home, getting bathed, and getting ready for bed, we played Unka-Bunka Bar (since it involves eating a chocolate bar, they now want to play it EVERY night!).
