On days like today I really appreciate Noall's job! He was invited to spend the day in Catalina and brought me along for a ferry ride, zip-lining, walk around town, and great lunch. It was very cold, but very fun!

Cast OFF!!!
The novelty of having a cast wore off pretty quickly, and Camilla has been counting down the days to get it off!!! Thanks to Daddy's picture-taking, you all get a play-by-play of the big event! Can you see how dirty her feet are?!?!? She went straight to the tub afterward!!!

Birthday Boy!
There was a definite Hawaii theme to Noall's birthday this year...from both friends and family! They must know how badly he wants to go! And can I just say that stuffed french toast is AMAZING!?!?!

The OC Marathon
Zach and Camilla have been keeping track of their miles run at running club for the past few months. The idea was for them to complete their 26th miles at the OC Marathon Kid's Run. Camilla was convinced she could still run it w/a cast (and knowing her, she probably could...but we convinced her that it wasn't the best idea). But Zach was a super-star and did a great job finishing his "marathon run"!!!

Casts and kindnesses...
When Camilla was playing at a friend's house literally "climbing the walls", she slipped and fell on her foot...and broke it! We wouldn't have bet money that she would have been the first kid in a cast, but she is (she doesn't look too upset about it, does she?)!
While we were waiting for x-rays, one of the other people waiting was really impressed with the kids love and knowledge of animals and we chatted for quite a while. Before we left she asked if she could send us all the "Ranger Rick" magazines from when her son was little. We got them in the mail two days later...and the kids are loving them! It was a perfect example of a "random act of kindness". There really are good people everywhere you look!
