Casts and kindnesses...

When Camilla was playing at a friend's house literally "climbing the walls", she slipped and fell on her foot...and broke it! We wouldn't have bet money that she would have been the first kid in a cast, but she is (she doesn't look too upset about it, does she?)!

While we were waiting for x-rays, one of the other people waiting was really impressed with the kids love and knowledge of animals and we chatted for quite a while. Before we left she asked if she could send us all the "Ranger Rick" magazines from when her son was little. We got them in the mail two days later...and the kids are loving them! It was a perfect example of a "random act of kindness". There really are good people everywhere you look!

Poor Camilla!!! How long does she have to wear her cast? I hope she can get it off before it gets too hot. Give her Kisses from us.

I LITERALLY laughed out loud at the first part - you are right, Camilla would hands down not be the first Silvester kiddo I would pick as needing a cast! In fact, she'd place #4 - right behind EMMA!!

Give her cast a proxy sign from her Omaha cousins. :)

Hi,
So sorry about your Camilla's mishap. Lovely blog story.

Let me know if you'd like a few recent copies of "Ranger Rick."
We still truck on, through recessions, layoffs, and postal increases.

If you'd like a packet for your daughter, no strings attached, free, drop me an email: schleich@nwf.org

Warmest wishes to you all,
