Emma can be convinced to play outside in the snow, but she by far loves to enjoy its beauty from inside! :)

I don't know if you have noticed or not, but I am really too busy to wait around for you to do things for me. For starters, this morning I was hungry, so while you folded laundry, I moved over a chair to the counter, got out the peanut butter and bread, had Emma open the peanut butter for me, then got out a spatula and made myself a sandwich. As soon as you started cleaning up my peanut butter mess, I sneaked out to the garage, got the keys out of your purse, and put them in the ignition. I considered going to the zoo with Emma, but I don't quite remember which exit to get off on...

With the big kids at school, it's time for some fun at home! Gabe is a quick study...today while I was watering some pots, he figured out that if he climbs on the hose reel, he can turn on and off the hose by himself. I have a feeling that yard work is going to become more complicated with him around!

First Day of School

You know your baby is a toddler when:

He cracks open eggs on the carpets by himself... He opens up closet doors and pull out everything inside within seconds... He sings to himself in his bedroom while he plays with his toys... He squeezes out tubes of toothpaste and lotion bottles on the floors and walls... He dumps out everything in the preschool rooms in record time if he knows that we just picked up his last mess... He insists on feeding himself everything with a spoon and fork and throws it all around the kitchen floor when he is finished... He loves to spin around in circles until he is so dizzy that he falls down (then he laughs hysterically)... He stands at the french doors and cries until he can go play outside... He walks up to everyone with a ball until someone will play with him... He can open up marker lids and draw on the wall and carpet... He refuses to nap on the weekend when the big kids are home from school... IT HAS BEEN A BUSY WEEK!!!!!

Camilla's Party with Friends

Camilla found some fun ideas for an ocean-themed birthday party and was very excited to get back in town so she could invite some friends over to play! They made sea shell headbands, play ocean games, had fish sandwiches and goldfish crackers, and had chocolate coral with swedish fish - yum!
