As you already know, many people lost their homes to the recent fires in our area. Our stake decided to make small quilts and take them to one of the elementary schools nearby where many were affected by the fires. Zach and Camilla both really enjoyed helping to tie the quilts.
He's two years old! We went to the zoo with some friends on Saturday and had cake, ice cream, and presents on Sunday! He LOVED his birthday cake and said, "Birthday!" whenever he saw it. Camila helped frost the sides and Zach wrote the message on top with a little help from his Mom. We actually had to postpone opening presents because all he wanted to do was eat cake and I couldn't keep distracting him! This video is a little long with two birthday songs...please forgive the overly excited mom trying to get Alex to say, "Birthday!". The cutest part is how excited he gets when the candles are lighted!
We attempted a music video today to Noall's current favorite song (it changes every couple of days)...the back-up dancers seemed to lose their energy every time the video started. Camilla kept track of how long everyone had been "rock stars"...she updates the audience at 2 minutes! :)
This is a funny little video of Noall and Alex "boxing". He loves to wrestle, dog pile, body slam, and any other full contact sport!
Although, the warm temperatures would indicate otherwise, it really is fall, today really is the 1st of November, and yesterday really was Halloween! We had jack-o-lantern pancakes for breakfast, Zach had a field trip to a pumpkin patch, we ate "bugs" for lunch, went to a little neighborhood party in the afternoon, then enjoyed our "dinner-in-a-pumpkin" with some friends, and left for trick-or-treating...it's amazing what you can fit in a day when you want to!!!
