Day #4...the flora and fauna of the rainforest (for any of you who are interested)

They say this is one of the safest rain forests to explore...there are no large predators and I think the only mammal is a bat.  We actually saw only a couple animals...lots of HUGE (and actually really cool looking) snails and a bird that sings almost like an owl.  There were tons of beautiful flowers, though...ENJOY!

I kept thinking someone had thrown garbage on the ground...the leaves are white underneath and looked like a crumpled up piece of paper.
