I recognize that not everyone wants a full play-by-play of my adventures with the kids, but some people have requested it, so here it is! On Sunday after church, we went to Temple Square with my dad before he went back home. It was great to catch up with him. The kids absolutely love him!!! Their favorite part of Temple Square was checking out all the scriptural murals and watching all the movies (of course). Even I love those little movie clips! Camilla is my little photographer - she took the one of the temple and the flag.
That night we spent the night with a friend up in Park City so we'd be ready to hike around and explore the next day. We had a great time being "Junior Rangers" and looking for wildlife. Zach was a little disappointed that we didn't find as many tracks as we had the morning we went to the sand dunes in St. George. But we saw some chipmunks and huge butterflies! On the way back into the valley we stopped by the Olympic Park - very cool!
That afternoon we played at a splash park nearby (we can't get enough of those!) and rode bikes over to my aunt and uncle's house (behind the farm). Janet and Steve are the best kind of aunt and uncle you can have: always a freezer full of ice cream (they had double scoop cones AND ice cream sandwiches), always a house full of people to talk to and kids to play with, a playground and sand box, dogs, horses, and chicken!!! It just doesn't get any better than that!!!!!

I'm so impressed with camilla's photography skills! Especially that temple shot!
Fun, fun! We just got back from a trip to Utah for a family reunion, and some time with friends and relatives. So fun, but exhausting too! I hope you have a great time and your kids go to bed earlier than mine did :)
