Oh, say can you say "Cholesteatoma"?

After doctor's appts in Omaha, a CT scan, and meeting with several surgeons at the University of Iowa...we've set a date for Alex's next surgery. That darned cholesteatoma (growth of skin cells) really likes hanging out in Alex's middle ear. So, it's back and we need to take it out AGAIN. Then hopefully next Spring we can restore some of his hearing in that ear!!!
We spent a whole day traveling and talking with the doctors in Iowa. Luckily, Gabe is enjoying his car seat better and Alex (as always) is having a GREAT attitude about all the hearing tests, pokes, prods, etc.!
