Church was fun - everyone started their talks with "Aloha" to which the entire congregation responded "Aloha"! After church, we decided to dive around to Pololu Valley and walk around there. The term "walk" is relative...it ended being a fairly strenuous hike back up to the car after we walked down to the valley. But it was worth it! At the bottom, we found a nice shady spot to eat lunch, hang out, and (of course) skip some stones in the ocean!
Afterward, we drove around Waimea which doesn't look like your typical Hawaii at all...rolling hills, pasture, cattle ranches...I loved it! Lucky for us, some of our friends live in Waimea, so we were able to enjoy dinner with them that night.
